Looking for a hale and hearty turkey this Thanksgiving? Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and The Hain Celestial Group have paired up to bring cooking lovers a Martha Stewart food line. Hain affiliate Hain Pure Protein Corp., a joint venture between Hain Celestial and private equity company Pegasus Capital Advisors, will source the poultry from its Plainville Farms.

This holiday, fresh vegetarian-fed and antibiotic-free turkeys, will be available and packaged with Martha Stewart’s “Turkey 101” booklet. Arrowhead Mills and DeBoles baking mixes and pastas with natural ingredients will be included in the line as well, starting in Spring 2010.
The move extends MSLO’s ties with Hain, which is also behind Martha Stewart Clean, a line of natural cleaning products set for release in November. This surfaces during Stewart’s licensing push, as she announced an impending pet care and apparel line set for release at PetSmart in the second quarter of 2010 and a new line at Home Depot set for release in the early months of 2010.
Hungry for more? Consumers can find tips and recipes at Martha Stewart’s website.
