NYSE Creates Technology Jobs In Belfast

Up to 400 jobs will be created by the New York Stock Exchange for a new technology service center in Belfast, Northern Ireland, according to BBC News. The mainly technical jobs will be aimed at computer science graduates and will specialize in technology development and support. The Belfast software company Wombat was bought 18 months ago by NYSE and they are expected to expand due to the Invest NI’s £9.6 million investment in the project. The hiring will be done over a two-year period.
