New York City will be host to the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit in March, where industry moguls including Aveda founder and a Burt’s Bees exec will speak about the business of beauty, environmental awareness and conscious capitalism. Aveda and Intelligent Nutrients Founder Horst Rechelbacher will open the Organic Monitor summit, which will also feature a talk about sustainability in business by Burt’s Bees Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer Mike Indursky.

The summit will last three days, from March 24-26, and will cover packaging, labeling, regulations, ethical marketing, “investments and green formulations,” and in general, ways to cut the environment impact of cosmetics.
