Fairway To Add Another Manhattan Location

Supermarket company Fairway is reportedly negotiating a lease to open another location in Manhattan, in the Upper East Side. According to Crain’s New York, Fairway Market could go into the former Circuit City and Barnes & Nobles location on East 86th Street between Second and Third Avenues.

Others that reportedly bid for the 60,000 square-foot location include Whole Foods and Nordstrom Rack, the latter of which is opening a location on 14th Street in Union Square, in the former Virgin Records space.

Fairway is also developing locations in Douglaston, Queens, Pelham, NY, and Stamford, CT.
