Infusion 23 Owner To Buy Pert Plus, Sure

Helen of Troy estimates they will create annual sales of approximately $65 million after hair care and antiperspirant brands Pert Plus and Sure are acquired by the end of the month. According to CosmeticsDesign, both brands were part of Procter & Gamble before being sold to the Innovative Brands in 2006. The brands will be part of the Idelle Labs unit, which also manages Ogilvie, Vitalis and Infusion 23.
CEO of Helen of Troy, Gerald Rubin, states the acquisition will strengthen the company due to Pert Plus’ development of 2-1 shampoo and conditioner and Sure’s great value. The terms of the deal were not revealed.
