Andrea Toochin is the founder, publisher and editor of Trendcetera Magazine. She is a writer and researcher who has worked for companies including Zagat, CondeNet, Vogue, Elle Accessories, The Village Voice, Harvard Medical School and Institutional Investor. By day, she is a financial writer covering the institutional markets. But, her passion lies in coverage of the beauty and wellness industries. She is thankful for family, freedom, Belvedere vodka, latex, Pandora and air travel. Her favorite songs are Beast of Burden, Under Pressure, Love the One You’re With and All Along the Watchtower. Her favorite beauty items of the moment are Woodsprite body oil in ginger glow, Valentino V perfume, Kumaara concealer, Jane Iredale Pressed Powder, Nivea A Kiss of Flavor cherry lip care and Vatika hair oil.
Grace Chang is a food and music writer for Trendcetera Magazine. She has worked in design and project management at New York based architectural firms such as Robert A.M. Stern Architects, Gary Handel and Associates, and Davis Brody Bond Architects. For documentary film production, Grace was awarded a grant to film in Inner Mongolia and China. Her paintings have been exhibited in the Peculiar Honors Juried Art Exhibition at Redeemer Presbyterian Church in New York City and in the Photography into Painting Exhibition at the Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Her photography has been published in Metropolis Magazine. Grace has worked as pastry and bread assistant at Balthazar Wholesale Bakery, which supplies New York area restaurants and gourmet shops with delectable baked goods.
Danielle La Touche is a beauty and social media intern at Trendcetera. She is an aspiring freelance writer who thrives off of creative overload! She plans to write for online and print magazines and has a passion for women’s interest publications. She has interned for PINK Magazine and Rotor & Wing Magazine. She is a self-proclaimed decor blog junkie, who also loves music, dance and cooking. She’s also inspired by God, beautiful flowers, sunny days, and chai lattes!
Cherelle Heck is a current events contributor and publicity intern at Trendcetera. She is a writer and visual artist from the suburbs of Washington, D.C. She graduated from Hampton University with a B.A. in print journalism. She enjoys music, fashion, and photography and hopes to become an art director in the near future.
Aarti Ruparell is a beauty and fashion intern at Trendcetera. As a native Canadian, Aarti was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, moving to Toronto at age 12. She completed her undergraduate degree in international business and moved to New York at 21 to attend Parsons The New School for Design. Now as a make up artist studying fashion marketing, she is pursuing a career in the fashion and beauty industries.
Krysten Kauder is a beauty and fashion intern at Trendcetera. A fashion merchandising student from Ohio anxiously awaiting graduation in December, she plans to pursue her passion for fashion in the Big Apple! Krysten has interned with several companies but it was the production department at Teen Vogue that she enjoyed the most. She loves sushi and getting cozy to watch a good movie or old television shows, like Roseanne. Krysten will read anything that deals with fashion and urges all to purchase Why We Buy by Paco Underhill.
Francesca Cheli is a recent graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. While at college, she studied journalism and anthropology while helping the school’s varsity synchronized skating teams earn four national championships. She has a deep respect for research and inquiry. Enthusiastic about nearly all subject matter, writing allows her to share her passion for stories and information. Francesca enjoys the beach, exercise, learning and spending time with family.
